✨ Exploring the World of Alcohol-Free Drinks

There’s a whole new wave of alcohol-free drinks making “wine o’clock” less about the wine, and more about the ritual. These aren’t your average sugary soft drinks — they’re crafted with botanicals, adaptogens, nootropics, fiery ginger, live cultures, herbs and spices. Some are designed to soothe and calm, others to energise or focus, and many are simply there to give you a grown-up glass to savour.

Flavours range from bittersweet aperitifs and complex herbal elixirs, to sparkling mood-boosters and tangy kombuchas alive with natural fizz. Some are bold and fiery, others soft and floral, but all are made to be sipped with intention. Many are low-calorie, sugar-free, or plant-based, so they don’t just feel better in the moment — they support you afterwards too.

I’ve tried many of these myself, and love how each one brings its own kind of magic to the glass. They don’t pretend to perfectly mimic wine, and that’s the point. They’re different — exciting, sophisticated, and sometimes surprising. Each one offers its own way to reclaim the ritual of a drink at the end of the day, without the alcohol.

Equinox Kombucha

✨ Equinox Kombucha ✨

Equinox is my sparkling little gut-potion. Light, alive, and brewed with tea and botanicals, it carries a gentle wildness that wine never could. Raspberry & Elderflower is my summer sparkle, Turmeric Lemon Ginger my golden shield. Each sip feels like fizz with intention — bright, tangy, and quietly
magical.

Everleaf non alcoholic

✨ Everleaf ✨

Everleaf is pure botanical elegance. It’s an aperitif that leans bittersweet and layered, perfect with tonic and ice in a big wine glass. What I love is that it carries the sophistication of sipping something refined, without feeling like a compromise. Pouring Everleaf feels like setting the scene for ceremony — a glass that says, this is a moment worth noticing.

gspot adaptogen drink

✨ This Is G Spot ✨

Playful name, serious potion. Gillian Anderson’s G Spot cans are sparkling adaptogen blends that lift, soothe, protect, or arouse depending on your mood. They fizz like a celebration, but leave you clear-eyed and present. I sip one when I want bubbles with benefits – joy, focus, calm – whatever my evening ritual calls for. Plus, did I mention, Gillian Anderson?!

Gimber no alcohol ginger

✨ Gimber ✨

Gimber is not shy. It’s a fiery ginger concentrate — just a splash with sparkling water and suddenly I’ve got a drink that feels like liquid courage without the hangover. It’s sharp, citrusy, spicy — the sort of thing that wakes you right up and makes your tongue dance.

When I want a drink with presence, I’ll always turn to Gimber.

Grass & Co zero alcohol

✨ Grass & Co ✨

Grass & Co. feels like drinking intention. Their blends use mushrooms and adaptogens to nudge you toward focus, calm, or flow. Elderflower & Sicilian Lemon is my go-to for clarity, while Peach & Chamomile is pure gentle exhale. They’re light on the palate, but leave me feeling … adjusted, as if the plants are quietly tuning the strings behind the scenes.

Mother Root alcohol free

✨ Mother Root ✨

Mother Root is pure fire in a glass. Built on ginger, apple cider vinegar and chilli, it bites, warms, and wakes you up from the inside.

Not wine, not even close — it’s sharper, wilder, a drink that refuses to be quiet. I love it on it’s own or with soda and ice, a slow burn that reminds me I’m here, alive and sparking.

Nix & Kix drink

✨ Nix & Kix ✨

Nix & Kix is my fizzy mood-lift. Sparkling, fruity, with a playful little kick of spice — it’s not trying to be wine, but it makes me grin every time. Mango & Ginger is sunshine in a glass, Raspberry & Rhubarb is like a cheeky wink.

These are the cans I crack when I want something bright, easy and fun, without the sugar crash or hangover shadow.

Sentia alcohol free

✨ Sentia ✨

SENTIA feels like science and sorcery bottled together. Created by actual neuroscientists, it gently coaxes your brain into the same relaxed, sociable pathways that alcohol does — but without the fog. The flavour is bold, herbal, almost like sipping an ancient berry potion with secrets to share. When I pour SENTIA, I feel wrapped in a warm evening glow, like the party can start even if no cork has been popped.

Three Spirit alcohol-free

✨ Three Spirit ✨

Ah, Three Spirit — these elixirs feel like potions from an apothecary who moonlights as a mixologist. Each one has its own personality: Livener (zippy, bright, energising), Social (warm and talkative), and Nightcap (like a liquid hug before bed). They don’t just taste complex and herbal; they actually feel alive in the body. I sip them when I want ritual with purpose — something more than just “wine without the wine.”

Trip CBD Drinks

✨ Trip ✨

TRIP is my “press-pause in a can.” It’s sparkling, light, and laced with CBD and botanicals — less wine-like, more like a serene exhale disguised as a soft drink. I reach for the Elderflower Mint when I want a moment of cool clarity, or Peach Ginger when I’m flirting with something a little more playful. It doesn’t mimic wine, but it gives me something rarer: calm in a glass.
